Crimson View celebrates STEM achievements and community engagement under Principal's leadership

Crimson View Elementary School is celebrating a significant milestone, having achieved the prestigious platinum status in STEM education, the highest recognition awarded by the state. This accomplishment reflects the school’s commitment to excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and highlights the collaborative efforts of students, teachers, and the community.

During a recent Washington County School District meeting, Principal of Crimson View shared the exciting news, noting the impressive growth in student performance in both reading and math. "We've seen so much growth from the middle of the year to where we're at now," the principal stated, emphasizing the positive trajectory of student learning.

The school recently hosted a successful STEM family night, which attracted a large turnout of families eager to engage in hands-on activities. This event is part of a broader initiative to foster community involvement and support for educational programs. A standout fundraising effort, the egg drop challenge, raised over $37,000, showcasing the community's commitment to enhancing student experiences. "Every student designs and engineers what they're going to protect their egg with," the principal explained, highlighting the educational value of the project.
