Tahlequah School Board elects new officers and honors Amanda Vance's achievement

During the Tahlequah Public Schools Board Meeting on April 15, 2025, significant changes were made to the board's leadership structure, alongside a heartfelt recognition of an outstanding educator.

In a moment of celebration, the board recognized Amanda Vance, an esteemed principal within the district, for her recent achievement as the runner-up for the Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals (OAESP) Principal of Excellence award. She will be honored at the COSA conference in June and is expected to lead a session at the OAESP conference next February.
