Littleton celebrates Small Business Week with local events and social media campaigns

Littleton City Council is gearing up for an exciting May, celebrating both Small Business Week and Economic Development Week with a series of initiatives aimed at boosting local commerce. During the recent council meeting, officials unveiled plans for a vibrant social media campaign titled "Littleton Locals," which will spotlight local businesses and encourage community support.

From May 4 to May 10, the city will enhance its open rewards program, increasing incentives to shop local by offering a 10% boost. A highlight of Small Business Week will be a co-hosted event with the Littleton Business Chamber on May 8, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence in business and networking strategies.

Following Small Business Week, Economic Development Week will kick off with an Economic Development Day, designed to inform city staff about the community's economic initiatives. Notably, May 14 will feature the State of the City address, coinciding with the launch of the Cutting Edge Award campaign, which recognizes innovative local businesses.

Local business owners, including representatives from Chicken Salad Chick and Grama Station, expressed gratitude for the city's support during the meeting. They highlighted the positive impact of city initiatives, such as the revitalization incentive grant, which has helped enhance their storefronts and foster community engagement.
