As the holiday season approaches, the town of Exeter is gearing up for a festive celebration with its fourteenth annual Christmas tree lighting scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 6:30 PM. This cherished event will take place in front of the town clerk's office located at 1675 Ken Rhine Road, bringing together residents to kick off the holiday spirit.
In addition to the tree lighting, the Exeter Public Library is set to host its annual youth craft fair on Saturday, December 7, from 11 AM to 2 PM. This year’s fair promises a delightful array of Christmas-themed products and activities, perfect for families looking to embrace the season. The library is collaborating with several local organizations, including Exodus Social Services and Tri County Community Action Agency, to conduct a special holiday drive aimed at supporting local youth in need. Items for teens are particularly sought after, and more details about the fair and the holiday drive can be found on the library's website. Although the library will be closed for browsing on the day of the fair, residents can still pick up their holds, and Santa will make a special appearance to delight the children.
