During a recent City Council meeting, officials expressed gratitude to Alan and the Parks and Recreation Department for organizing a series of events aimed at promoting sustainability and community involvement.

The day will kick off with a park cleanup at Norwalk Park at 8:30 AM, followed by a butterfly demonstration from 1 PM to 2:30 PM, and another cleanup at Gertie's Park from 3 PM to 5 PM. The theme for this year’s Earth Day is "Rooted in Community, Growing a Greener Tomorrow," emphasizing the importance of collective action in environmental stewardship.
