Rialto Pacific plans major logistics project with dual warehouse construction in Business Park zone

Hemet's City Council has taken a significant step towards economic growth by approving a new industrial project that promises to enhance local job opportunities and infrastructure. During the recent meeting on April 8, 2025, council members greenlit the construction of two high-cube warehouse buildings, totaling approximately 1.2 million square feet, on a property currently zoned as Business Park.

The ambitious project will also feature an 8.9-acre trailer parking lot and include essential improvements such as street widening, sidewalks, utility extensions, and landscaping. Building 1 will encompass around 883,080 square feet, equipped with 144 dock-high doors, while Building 2 will cover approximately 309,000 square feet with 50 dock-high doors. The site will provide a total of 425 parking stalls for trucks and 1,256 passenger vehicle stalls, ensuring ample space for operations and visitors.

Rialto Pacific LLC, a regional fulfillment company known for its logistics and warehousing services for major retailers like Costco, Target, and Walmart, is expected to be the primary tenant. This development is anticipated to not only boost the local economy but also create numerous job opportunities in the area.
