Sandusky High basketball team celebrates historic championship achievements

Sandusky High School's varsity basketball team has made history, achieving remarkable success this season. During the City Commission meeting on April 14, 2025, President Richard Brady recognized the team for their outstanding performance, which included a 19-8 overall record and a 9-1 conference record. This season marked the team's fourth consecutive SBC Lake Division championship and sectional championship, culminating in their first-ever regional championship and a historic appearance in the state finals.

Brady urged the community to celebrate the team's dedication and hard work, emphasizing the pride they bring to Sandusky Schools, which serves over 3,500 students. The recognition included a ceremonial photo opportunity with the team and city officials, highlighting the community's support for local achievements.
