Bicycle Thief marks first anniversary with charity ride in Grass Valley

A vibrant community spirit is set to shine this Saturday as Bicycle Thief, a local restaurant celebrating its first anniversary, hosts a special bicycle ride. The event will cover approximately seven miles, starting at the Good Day Barbershop at 5 PM and ending at the Bicycle Thief. Participants can look forward to T-shirts and a fun-filled day, showcasing the restaurant's positive impact on the Grass Valley business scene.

In addition to the bike ride, the meeting highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Smartsville Church Restoration Fund. A board member shared details about the restoration of the historic Church of the Immaculate Conception, built in 1871. The community is invited to the Timbuktu and Smartsville Pioneer Day on April 26, from 9 AM to 3 PM, where attendees can tour the church and enjoy one of California's charming community festivals.
