Springfield Public Schools honors 1984 basketball team and staff at women's sports luncheon

The Springfield Public Schools Board of Education meeting on April 15, 2025, celebrated the achievements of local sports figures and reflected on the bittersweet nature of transitions within the school community.

Cofield, who played volleyball at Purdy High School and later at Missouri Southern State University, has made significant contributions to the Springfield educational community, currently serving as the A+ director at Glendale High School.
