Jason Arpens beautifies War Acres Police Department with landscaping donation

In the heart of Warr Acres, a remarkable transformation is taking place at the local police station, thanks to the generosity of a community member. During the recent city council meeting, a council member shared an inspiring story about Jason Arpens, a firefighter who also runs Jason's Outdoor Management. After a brief conversation about the long-neglected landscaping at the police station, Arpens mobilized a team of volunteers and resources to completely revamp the area in just 48 hours, all at no cost to the city.

The police station, which had sat unadorned for four years, now boasts vibrant flower beds filled with low-maintenance plants, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the facility. Arpens and his team also removed several dead trees along MacArthur Boulevard, allowing for new grass to flourish. Additionally, the library is encouraging youth aged 12 to 17 to volunteer, providing them with valuable experience and skills.
