White Plains City School District receives Champions of Change award for Incubator EDU program

The White Plains City School District Board of Education convened on April 7, 2025, to discuss various updates and initiatives aimed at enhancing educational experiences for students. The meeting also featured a presentation by Dr. Cheryl Brady from the New York State School Boards Association, who awarded the White Plains City School District with the Champions of Change recognition. This award highlights the district's innovative program, Incubator EDU, which offers high school students experiential learning opportunities in entrepreneurship. The program allows students to develop business ideas and plans, fostering essential skills such as critical thinking and collaboration.
