Stroud, who previously served as principal at Itasca High School, brings extensive experience in educational leadership and science instruction. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to return to Arlington ISD and emphasized his commitment to serving the community.
Anne Hartfield was appointed as the assistant principal of Martin High School. With over 15 years of experience in education, Hartfield previously held the position of Dean of Academics at South Grand Prairie High School. She shared her excitement about joining Arlington ISD and her eagerness to support students and families.
The meeting concluded with a brief recess for congratulations and photo opportunities for the newly appointed administrators. The next board meeting is scheduled for May 1, where further discussions, including the appointment of a chief communications officer, will take place.
