During the recent Tewksbury Public Schools School Committee meeting, student representative Maggie Kennan shared an enthusiastic update on the vibrant activities and achievements at Tewksbury High School. Kennan, who has taken over the role from Rania Alouai, expressed her eagerness to represent her peers and bring fresh ideas to the committee.
One of the highlights from her presentation was the kickoff of spring sports, with approximately 260 students participating across eight teams. Notable achievements included Emily Pitcher reaching her 100th goal in lacrosse and the boys' lacrosse team starting the season with an impressive four-game winning streak. The cheerleading team is also gearing up for the next school year, with tryouts scheduled for incoming freshmen and current students.
