First Sergeant George Sutton celebrates JROTC rifle team's historic qualification for Ohio

During the recent Leavenworth Board of Education meeting held on April 14, 2025, a significant highlight was the recognition of the JROTC rifle team, marking a historic achievement for the program. First Sergeant George Sutton took the podium to present the JROTC rifle team, which recently qualified four teams for a competition in Ohio—an unprecedented feat in the program's history.
