Montgomery County is set to launch the 2025 Montco Trail Challenge, a community-driven initiative aimed at encouraging residents to explore the county's extensive network of parks and trails. Kicking off on April 26 and running through December 1, the challenge invites participants to visit as many of the 18 designated trails as possible, documenting their visits by noting trail symbols as proof.
The challenge is designed to be inclusive, offering three free spaces for participants to write in any park or trail of their choice, even those outside Montgomery County. Additionally, participants can explore historical sites, making the challenge not just a physical activity but also an opportunity for cultural enrichment.
