Yarmouth Select Board announces town cleanup day and monument design public comment

In a significant announcement, Bob Kelly from the Yarmouth Historic Commission urged the community to engage in public comment regarding proposed designs for a new Revolutionary War Monument. This monument will honor Yarmouth residents who fought for independence and will be located at Thatcher Park. The commission is seeking input on design options, with a public meeting scheduled for April 10 at Fire Station Number 2 in Yarmouth Port. Kelly expressed excitement over the renderings presented, describing them as "pretty spectacular," and emphasized the importance of community feedback in finalizing the design.
