Norwood to host informational sessions ahead of May 12 town meeting

Town Moderator Jerry Slater announced crucial preparations for the upcoming town meeting in Norwood, scheduled for May 12. To ensure all members are well-informed, three informational sessions will be held on April 28, April 30, and May 1 at the GSU Lecture Hall in Norwood High School, starting at 6:30 PM.

Slater emphasized the importance of these sessions, urging all town meeting members to attend. "We strongly encourage all town meeting members to attend and get the information needed to make informed decisions on the articles up for discussion," he stated. Additionally, new members are invited to a special Town Meeting 101 session on April 30, designed to help them navigate the upcoming discussions effectively.

These sessions aim to equip attendees with the knowledge necessary for meaningful participation in the town meeting, highlighting the town's commitment to transparency and community engagement.
