Rocky, trained for emotional support, will assist fire department employees and the community during critical incidents. Harmon expressed gratitude for the city's commitment to the program, highlighting the importance of mental health support in emergency services.
Additionally, the council recognized outstanding contributions in parks and recreation, awarding Tom Munoz for his volunteer work and the city’s volunteer program, which has engaged over 1,400 volunteers contributing more than 21,000 hours of service annually. The Corona High School Girls Wrestling Team was also honored for their impressive achievements, including a perfect season and multiple championships. Coach Jimmy Bowers praised the team's dedication and success, noting their historical performance in the league.
