Dublin Mayor Amarose declares April 25 2025 Arbor Day with celebrations at Dublin Cemetery

Mayor Chris Amarose announced that April 25, 2025, will be officially recognized as Arbor Day in Dublin. The proclamation also celebrated the recent arboretum accreditation achieved by the Dublin Cemetery, marking it as a vital green space that promotes conservation and community involvement. Jay Anderson, the director of public service, and Jeff Myers, the City Forester, provided details about the upcoming Arbor Day celebrations. The event will take place at the Dublin Cemetery from 9 AM to noon, coinciding with Earth Day celebrations at Monterey Park. A tree planting ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 AM, along with the dedication of the newly accredited arboretum.
