Fort Morgan School District announces key dates for May graduation events and celebrations

The Morgan County School District Board Meeting held on April 21, 2025, outlined several important upcoming events for the Fort Morgan community. Key dates were discussed, emphasizing a busy month of May for local schools.

Among the highlights, School Bus Driver Appreciation Day is set for April 22, recognizing the vital role of bus drivers in student transportation. The Fort Morgan High School Mighty Mustang Awards Ceremony will take place on April 30, celebrating student achievements.

Looking ahead, the last day of school for Fort Morgan High School seniors is scheduled for May 7, with a senior banquet following on May 8. National Teacher Appreciation Week will occur from May 5 to May 9, with National Teacher Appreciation Day specifically on May 6, honoring educators for their contributions.

Graduation events are also on the calendar, with the Lincoln High School graduation ceremony on May 9, followed by the Fort Morgan High School baccalaureate on May 16 and the graduation parade on May 17. The main graduation ceremony for Fort Morgan High School is set for May 18. Additionally, the Fort Morgan Middle School continuation ceremony will be held on May 29, marking the end of the school year, which concludes with an end-of-year picnic and Making a Difference Award on May 30.
