Newport News Council declares April Fair Housing Month and considers zoning changes

The proposal involved a 2.8-acre parcel located at 350 Yorktown Road, transitioning from a mixed-use designation with proffers to a new mixed-use designation with updated proffers. The council opened the floor for public comments, with Grady Palmer from Norfolk expressing his support for the proposed changes.
