Board approves Dewberry Park splash pad and Riverside Park playground improvements

Additionally, the meeting addressed the participation of minority and women-owned businesses in the project, with verified participation rates of 6.18% for minority-owned businesses and 2.75% for women-owned businesses. This commitment to inclusivity in contracting was noted as a positive step forward.

As the meeting concluded, the board approved several motions, including a final change order for ongoing playground renovations, reflecting a proactive approach to enhancing the city's recreational spaces.
