Community Voices Oppose Traffic Signal Project at Belfast and Fairview Road

Other residents echoed her concerns, emphasizing that the project seemed to benefit a council member directly involved in its proposal.

In contrast, advocates for Brentwood Park expressed enthusiasm for reimagining the park's playground. They highlighted a recent opportunity for matching funds from the California Park and Recreation Society, which could help stretch the city’s budget amid rising costs. The Brentwood Park Advocates are eager for the city to capitalize on this funding opportunity, with applications due soon.

Additionally, residents praised the city’s efforts to improve active transportation infrastructure, noting the positive impact of bike paths and safety measures. However, some voiced caution regarding a proposed study on the Orange County Power Authority (OCPA), suggesting that the city should wait for existing feasibility studies before committing additional funds.

As the meeting concluded, the council members were encouraged to consider the community's feedback on these critical issues.
