Legislature welcomes Ramon Wilson as new executive director of human rights

Sullivan County has officially welcomed Ramon Wilson as the new Executive Director of Human Rights, a move aimed at enhancing advocacy for equity and justice within the community. Wilson brings extensive experience in advocating for protected classes, particularly those with developmental, learning, and behavioral challenges. His previous roles include serving as a support coordinator and supervisor within the division of developmental services. In addition to his advocacy work, Wilson is also a celebrated musician and has directed music departments at various churches across New Jersey and New York, showcasing his diverse talents.

Academically, Wilson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine and holds an MBA from Western Governors University. His career has been marked by a commitment to compliance and tenant protections, ensuring adherence to city, state, and federal regulations in his role as a compliance officer at a leading residential management company.
