During the recent Oceanside Board of Education meeting, high school student government representatives highlighted a series of successful events and upcoming activities that reflect the vibrant student life at Oceanside High School (OHS).
Dennis Yoshovaya, a student leader, introduced the current student government officers and took the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of fellow students. He acknowledged Mr. Calliner for his work with WIC students, who recently received awards at prestigious institutions like Hofstra and Harvard.

Looking ahead, the student government announced several upcoming events, including the annual Mother-Daughter Dinner, scheduled for April 29, and a Jazz Night featuring talented musicians. In addition, the National Honor Society will hold an induction ceremony on May 1, welcoming over 100 new members who contribute significant volunteer hours to support their peers and the community.
