Neighbors oppose controversial project at 934 Miramar over view and height concerns

Nia Evans, representing her parents at 978 Miramar, echoed similar sentiments, arguing that the proposed enhancements would benefit one property at the expense of surrounding neighbors. She criticized the process for lacking meaningful input from residents, which she felt undermined community collaboration.

Ellen Germano, a resident at 1005 Miramar, raised concerns about the timing of the neighborhood communication regarding the project, noting that it was sent out on the same day as the Design Review Board notification. She expressed frustration over the perceived lack of engagement with neighbors prior to the proposal being submitted.

The meeting concluded with the board allowing the applicant a brief opportunity to respond to the public comments. The discussions highlighted the ongoing tension between individual property development and community interests, with residents advocating for a more inclusive process in future proposals.
