Woodford Theater plans modernization project for July stage and lighting upgrades

Woodford County Fiscal Court is set to enhance the Woodford Theater with a significant modernization project scheduled for July 2025. During a recent meeting, officials discussed the planned upgrades, which include improvements to the stage floor, lighting, sound systems, and seating.

The project was initially budgeted in the previous fiscal year but was postponed due to the theater's busy summer schedule. Theater representatives emphasized the importance of completing the upgrades during July, the theater's "dark month," when no performances are held.
