Council member Harris announces Tumbleweed Park movie series kickoff on May 2

The City of Chandler is gearing up for a summer filled with community engagement and celebration, as announced during the recent council meeting on April 24, 2025. One of the most exciting highlights is the return of the Center Park movie series, set to kick off on May 2 at Tumbleweed Park. Residents are invited to bring blankets, chairs, and snacks for a free evening of family-friendly entertainment. The pre-show festivities will begin at 6:30 PM, followed by the movie screening at 8 PM. This series will continue on May 9 and May 16, providing a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and enjoy the warm summer nights.

In addition to the movie series, the city will celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Golden Neighbors program with a special birthday event on May 8.
