Wicomico County Library to relocate main branch and build new downtown presence

In a recent episode of Local Lens, Seth Hershberger, the Executive Director of the Wicomico County Public Library, addressed significant changes regarding the library's future locations. Hershberger confirmed that the flagship Paul S. Sarbanes Library, which has served the community since the 1960s, will be relocating. The building, currently owned by Wicomico County, will be transferred to Salisbury University. In exchange, the county will acquire the former Ward Museum property, which spans ten acres and is situated along the waterfront.
