Subscribe for Free Epperson announced the introduction of new programs within the CTE Academy, including mechatronics and early education, alongside existing offerings like HVAC and health sciences. She noted that students can earn up to 36 college credits and trade certificates through these programs, with the foundation covering necessary fees, textbooks, and tools to eliminate financial barriers.
A highlight of the meeting was the presentation of a check for $37,375 from the foundation, which, combined with previous donations, will fund all CTE Academy students' materials for the year. Epperson expressed excitement about the growing interest and participation in these programs.
The meeting also featured a testimonial from Laney Green, a senior at Brookville High School, who shared her experiences in the early childhood development program. Green highlighted her practical experience and the support she received from educators, expressing gratitude for the opportunities provided by the foundation and her aspirations to become an educator.
