The Village of Lisle is celebrating its second annual Restaurant Week, which kicked off on April 21 and runs through April 26, 2025. This year, 27 local restaurants are participating, marking a significant increase from the 21 restaurants that took part last year. Community Engagement Specialist, Pasden, highlighted the various promotions and special menus offered by the restaurants, aimed at attracting new customers and encouraging residents to explore local dining options.
The marketing efforts for this year's event have been notably enhanced, including a prominent billboard on Ogden Avenue and increased social media engagement. The village plans to conduct follow-up surveys for both participating restaurants and residents to assess the event's impact and gather feedback for future improvements.

Trustee Syma clarified that there is no recent U.S. Supreme Court opinion on the matter, but rather a petition that was declined. The board is awaiting a legal opinion on the situation, which may provide clarity on the village's responsibilities regarding the water main.
Trustee Lesniak assured residents that the board is actively addressing their concerns and will revisit the water issue in future meetings. The discussions reflect the village's commitment to transparency and community engagement, as officials work to ensure that residents are informed and involved in local governance.
As Restaurant Week continues, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the diverse dining options available, while the board remains focused on addressing infrastructure challenges and enhancing community services.
