PSBA launches AI program for school leaders this June for enhanced tutoring solutions

A groundbreaking tutoring initiative was unveiled at the Harrisburg City School District Board meeting on April 22, 2025, promising to enhance student learning through personalized support. The program features a one-on-one tutoring system where students can log in to connect with certified tutors. This innovative approach also includes assessments to identify students' learning gaps, with AI technology providing tailored recommendations to help close those gaps.

In addition to this tutoring program, the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) announced a new foundational AI training course for school leaders. The first cohort of this program is set to run from June 16 through August, with registration available online. This initiative aims to equip educational leaders with the skills needed to integrate AI into their schools effectively.
