Subscribe for Free Josh Herrera, the valedictorian of his class, recounted his journey through personal challenges, including his mother's battle with cancer. He highlighted his leadership roles, including captain of the swim team and president of the Science Olympiad Club, and his recent success in business management competitions, where he placed fourth at the state level and will compete nationally.
Principal Richard Bradshaw praised both students for their accomplishments and thanked the council and the Optimist Club for their support in recognizing student achievements. Mike Whiting from the Optimist Club emphasized the importance of such recognitions in showcasing the positive developments at Bradshaw Mountain High School.
The meeting also included a call to the public, allowing residents to voice their opinions on agenda items or town matters. Five residents registered to speak, with one, Steve Caroll, commending the students for their impressive presentations.
