Jersey City Council recognizes April 2025 as Sikh Heritage Month

The resolution was championed by Arjuna Javeria, a community activist and pharmacist, who passionately advocated for the recognition of Sikh Heritage Month. Javeria’s heartfelt address underscored the importance of fostering an inclusive environment where every culture is celebrated. “Together, we can cultivate a spirit of unity and understanding that will resonate throughout our beloved town,” she remarked, reflecting the council's commitment to diversity and mutual respect.
