Prince George's County faces rising pit bull population in animal shelter

During a recent public hearing on the county budget, Prince George's County officials highlighted a pressing issue regarding the local dog population, particularly the rising number of pit bulls in shelters. The meeting revealed that as of today, 74 dogs are listed for adoption, with 78% of them identified as pit bulls.
