Orono students excel at Minnesota State History Day and Speech Tournament

The Orono School Board meeting held on April 28, 2025, highlighted significant achievements by students and staff, showcasing the district's commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.

One of the most notable discussions centered around the success of seventh-grade students at the Minnesota State History Day competition. The students presented 15 projects, earning one fifth-place award and seven honorable mentions.
