Sears reported promising enrollment figures for the fall of 2025, with expectations of at least 450 undergraduate students. He outlined ten facility projects currently underway, including renovations to nursing facilities and the college's track, which will serve community needs. Additionally, the Hearthstone Pavilion is being developed for community use, with completion anticipated by fall 2025.
Sears also noted a record fundraising year for the college, raising over $22 million, which will enhance experiential learning opportunities and scholarships for local residents. He acknowledged the support of local law enforcement, particularly Captain Shuster, for their compassionate response to a recent tragedy involving a student.
