Mount Juliet City Council backs land use plan for gated community development

During the recent City of Mt. Juliet Board of Commissioners meeting held on April 28, 2025, discussions centered around a proposed land use plan that has garnered significant attention from both city officials and residents. The discussion also touched on the strategic inclusion of this property in the city’s Urban Growth Boundary (UGB), which was previously expanded to accommodate such developments. The developers are proposing an initial phase of around 60 houses, with plans to gradually roll out the project over the next seven to eight years.
