Houston County Commission proclaims May 2025 as Small Business Week

Small Business Week in Houston County has officially been proclaimed for May 2025, highlighting the vital role of local entrepreneurs in the community. During the Houston County Commission meeting, Chairman Brandon Shute emphasized the importance of small businesses, noting they create two-thirds of all new jobs and are essential to the local economy.

The proclamation calls on the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and other organizations to participate in activities that support small businesses throughout the week.
