Maricopa City Council approves Matrix Equities' 82-unit multifamily development plan

In the heart of Maricopa, where the sun casts a warm glow over a city in transition, the Planning and Zoning Commission convened to discuss the future of development in the area. The project is currently in the second step of the entitlement process, having received zoning approval earlier in the year.

Commissioners reviewed the site plan, landscape design, and building elevations, noting that the developer had met the city’s requirements for parking and landscaping. With 375 parking stalls provided for the 182 units, the project is poised to integrate well into the surrounding area, offering a buffer between higher density developments to the west and lower density single-family homes to the east.

As the discussion wrapped up, the commission unanimously approved the project, signaling a positive step forward for Maricopa’s development landscape.
