The Perryton Independent School District (PISD) Board of Trustees convened on April 28, 2025, to celebrate student achievements and address community inquiries. In athletics, several students qualified for regional track events, with Jacob Erickson breaking the school record in the 3,200 meters. In powerlifting, the PISD teams achieved notable results at the national level, with the girls' team finishing third and the boys' team fifth. Individual accolades included national championships for Crystal Anaya, Caden Juarez, and Javier Martinez, with Martinez lifting the second-highest total across all weight classes.
The meeting also highlighted achievements in music, with the PHS band receiving a sweepstakes award for the first time in 19 years, reflecting their hard work and dedication. Choir performances were similarly recognized, with various groups earning high ratings in competitions.
