Youth City Council shares highlights from 2024 activities in Utah

Brigham City leaders celebrated a year of community engagement and significant infrastructure projects during the City Council meeting on May 1, 2025. The highlight of the meeting was a presentation by the Youth City Council, who shared their favorite activities from the past year, emphasizing their commitment to community service and leadership development.

One member proudly noted, "It was truly amazing... we go through different workshops and different breakout rooms." Notably, the replacement of the 100 South roadway and utilities is expected to be a generational project, with improvements designed to last up to a century. The new underground water lines and bridge over Fourth Street are part of a broader effort to enhance the city’s infrastructure while addressing challenges head-on. A council member remarked, "With challenges comes opportunity... it helps us grow as a city."
