Alpharetta Commission recommends approval for first vertiport on parking deck

The Alpharetta Planning Commission convened on May 1, 2025, to discuss several significant developments that could shape the future of the community. Commissioners expressed support for the proposal, recognizing its potential to integrate innovative transportation solutions into the community. The motion to approve the vertiport was passed unanimously and will be forwarded to the City Council for further consideration on May 19, 2025.

In addition to the vertiport discussion, the commission reviewed other developments, including a master plan amendment for Northwoods Summit, which is part of a larger mixed-use project.
