Westminster plans new fire stations to address service gaps and modernization needs

The Westminster City Council and Department Directors convened on May 3, 2025, to discuss the development of the 2026 budget, focusing on critical infrastructure needs, particularly in fire services and roadway improvements.

The meeting also addressed the need for compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements in ongoing and future projects. The city plans to incorporate ADA upgrades into roadway projects proactively, ensuring accessibility for all residents.
