Rossford invests over $20M in residential streets and marina improvements by 2025

Rossford City Council highlighted significant infrastructure investments during the State of the City meeting on May 5, 2025, showcasing a commitment to enhancing local roads and recreational facilities.

The council revealed that since 2020, the city has invested over $20 million in residential street improvements. Key projects include upgrades on Colony, Eagle Point Road, and Jennings Road, with additional work set to begin on Hillcrest and Riverside in the coming months. This extensive effort aims to improve accessibility and safety for residents across the city.

In addition to roadwork, the council reported over $1 million in enhancements to the Rossford Marina. Recent upgrades include a new kayak and paddleboard launch, extended docks, and improved facilities at Veterans Park. A solar lighted pathway along the river is also set to be installed by the end of summer, further enriching the community's recreational offerings.

The meeting also touched on a significant capital investment partnership, with the recent replacement of the bridge over I-75 on Lime City Road costing nearly $8 million, of which the city's contribution was just $348,000.
