The first approval pertains to the DSP 23020 Central Industrial Park, located on East Hampton Avenue. This project, covering 6.3 acres, seeks to modify the list of permanent uses within the Light Industrial I-1 development district overlay. The council's decision, made with a unanimous vote of 7-0, follows a thorough review process, including a hearing held on April 28, 2025. The planning board had previously endorsed the project with conditions on March 20, 2025, indicating strong support from technical staff and planning authorities.

This project, located on the east side of West Hampton Avenue, is expected to enhance storage options in the area and is also situated within Council District 6. The approval came after a favorable recommendation from park and planning technical staff on January 15, 2025.
