Local Council Debates Curfew Implementation in Response to Rising Youth Safety Concerns

He emphasized the need for clarity on the ordinance, especially in light of the county's existing curfew, which does not apply to city areas. “We need to answer a lot of questions here tonight,” McNair stated, urging his fellow council members to consider the community's concerns before moving forward.

Council members also revisited the timing of the curfew, which had previously been discussed as 11 PM but was now suggested to be 9 PM.
