Fairfield Union High School honors students and FFA leadership in recognition ceremony

The Fairfield Union Local Board Meeting on May 5, 2025, highlighted a series of upcoming events that promise to celebrate student achievements and foster community spirit. Among the most anticipated is the farewell concert for the choir and band, scheduled for Thursday at 7:30 PM, which is expected to be an emotional evening filled with performances and reflections.

In addition to the concert, the music gala on May 12 at 7:00 PM will feature the induction of new Hall of Fame members and the announcement of next year's musical selection by Mr. Gregory. The excitement continues with "Drive Your Tractor to School Day" on May 16, aimed at engaging the community and celebrating agricultural education.

The meeting also announced the Senior Awards Ceremony on May 18 at 4:00 PM, where outstanding students will be recognized for their achievements. Notably, ten students were honored as Senior Salute honorees, including Gabrielle Bombosch and Claire Brown, showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication within the student body.

The board expressed pride in the leadership of the agricultural department, particularly praising educators Hannah Penrose, Chris Turner, and Judd Baker for their commitment to student success.
