San Mateo residents demand action on Parkside Montessori construction disruptions

Residents of San Mateo are voicing their frustrations over ongoing construction at Parkside Montessori School, which has disrupted their lives since January 2024. During a recent City Council meeting, community members expressed concerns about noise violations, property damage, and a lack of accountability from the school district.

Homeowners reported that construction activities have started as early as 6 AM and continued late into the evening, violating agreed-upon work hours. One resident described the relentless noise from an unsecured auger that caused sleepless nights for weeks.
