Caroline County designates May 2025 as Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month

Caroline County has officially declared May 2025 as Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month, a move aimed at enhancing road safety for all motorists. The proclamation, presented by Commissioner Larry C. Porter, emphasizes the importance of recognizing motorcycles on the road and promoting safe driving practices.

During the meeting, Porter highlighted the role of motorcycles as an economical transportation option that helps reduce fuel consumption and traffic congestion. He acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the Midshore chapter of ABATE of Maryland, which actively promotes motorcycle safety and education within the community.
